A Husky Attitude
Born in Waterbury, CT, Dean grew up with a father who was a police officer and army veteran. His mother was a hardworking immigrant from Canada that raised Dean and his three siblings. As the son of a police officer and hard-working mother, Dean saw first-hand the value of sacrifice when it came to service. Upon graduation from the University of Connecticut-Storrs, and his completed enlistment into the CT Army National Guard, he started his practice in financial services.
Dean built his needs based financial advisory practice business from the ground up over twenty-three years ago. By taking a "needs approach," Dean works in the best-interest of his clients. He has guided them through four major market disturbances and volatility including 2000 Tech bubble, 9/11, The Great Financial Recession and most recently the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Iron Sharpens Iron
Even with the most recent market volatility due to recessionary fears, Dean used his experience to guide and protect clients from emotional drawdown and emphasize goal-based investment strategies. It is a vital component of Dean's practice to handle the psychological nervousness of some investors and walk clients through down markets with a clear head, stressing a focus on achieving their long-term goals.
