One of our favorite tools to utilize is through our membership with HorsesMouth. HorsesMouth is a financial advisor toolkit, basically. It is a website with many interactive calculators, articles, and legal excerpts, designed to keep member advisors a step ahead.
The Savvy Social Security Planning calculator (yes, with two v's) is one of our favorite tools. Only available to members, this calculator runs scenarios for claimants based on age of claim, dependent scenarios, survivor benefits, divorce situations, etc.
Designed to be as comprehensive as possible, we use it daily to make sure clients are getting the absolute most for their situation.
